Each coaster is made from tiny rectangular pieces of shimmering light turquoise Mother of Pearl Shell, these are flawlessly laid to produce this beautiful seamless smooth finish. The coasters are handmade using highly skilled craftmanship and I would expect these to last a life time if cared for, as they are extremely well made. Even the edge of the coaster is laid with mother of pearl shell, they really are stunning.
